The Phlebotomy Technician
The Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares the individual by providing cross-training in blood drawing techniques as well as basic bedside nursing skills.
At the end of this program the student will be able to identify anotomic structure and function of body system in relation to the duties performed by the phlebotomist. They will show the skills and demonstrate the knowledge necessary to complete the clinical/internship rotation.
Students will be eligible to take the State and/or National certification exam for Phlebotomy Technician.
